Fort Lewis Family Support and Recreation Division have teamed together to provide a youth theatre program for eligible Fort Lewis community members.

Started in December of 2000 with the production of ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,’ the program has grown to include two productions and two workshops each year.

The program’s Spring 2002 production of  “Into the Woods, Jr.’ drew the largest audience yet, featuring a cast ranging in age from 3 to 18.  It won 1st place honors in the FORSCOM Festival of the Performing Arts Competition.

Our goal is to provide quality theater experiences for children, regardless of age, experience, or ability.  We offer instruction and hands-on experience in a wide variety of theater arts.

"Once On This Island Jr." was held on 4-5 June 2004.

"Scrooge" will be held on December 17th, 2004  at 7:00 p.m. and on December 18th , 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson Recreation Center.  Admission is free.
